The 4-Year Medical Doctor (MD) Program is IUHS' flagship program. If you meet the entry requirements, your place at the University is guaranteed. For students who need a little extra preparation, Pre-Med courses help you build the skills and knowledge required for a smooth transition into the MD Program. And if you don't meet the prerequisites at all, the BS-MD program is the perfect pathway to get you started.
Innovation is at the heart of IUHS. Our active learning approach combines a virtual classroom with live interactive lectures, recorded sessions, problem-based case studies, study groups, and a competency-based assessment model with regular self-assessment exams. Students also get hands-on, tech-driven experience using IUHS' custom tools, like the Lecturio learning platform and the DxR Clinician virtual patient simulator.
